About the Opportunity

Cabonne Council has an excellent opportunity for a Personal Assistant  in Molong, NSW.    

Looking for a job that will challenge you, this position may appeal to you as it has responsibility for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Director Finance and Corporate Services. This position also supports the Director Finance and Corporate Services and Manager’s (when required) to perform their duties in an organised fashion which is consistent with their responsibilities under the Integrated Planning and Reporting framework. This position also Manages, screens and researches incoming phone calls and correspondence for the Director Finance and Corporate Services using the Electronic Records Management and Mail System and work through correspondence with them to ensure action within priorities and timelines. It also entails promptly and thoroughly compiling the Business Paper/agenda for Council’s Ordinary, Extraordinary and Committee meetings.

So what do you need to be successful?

You will have excellent administrative support skills including accurate and timely data entry, meeting arrangements, records management, a high level of expertise in computer applications, highly systematic and organised approach to work and outstanding oral and written communication skills

Other details relating to this position are:

  • Salary is $1027.20 to $1175.8 per week
  • Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2017
